Your guide to Rallycross at Blyton
The Spark Developments Ltd and BTRDA Clubman's Rallycross Championship are proud to showcase the sport of Rallycross at Blyton Park in Lincolnshire across three weekends per year.
Rallycross, previously showcased on BBC Top Gear, and branded "the best form of Motorsport on 4 wheels" is a high intensity racing discipline utilising a permanent circuit comprising of approximately 60% sealed surface and 40% loose surface. With races spanning only 3-5 laps, competitors really do have to go door to door from the second the lights go green with every second to count. Find out more about the event format below. FormatCompetitors are divided by their category (we have 9 categories competing at events this year).
Each category will complete a practice session, three qualifying heats (subject to change) and a Final. The grid position for the Final is determined by the competitors performance throughout the qualifying heats. The qualifying start positions are randomly determined prior to the event. |

Old Blyton Airfield, Kirton Road, Blyton, Gainsborough, DN21 3PE On arrival to the circuit, follow the entrance road down - you will go past an Autograss track (on your left), a Karting circuit (on your right) and then will approach the wall which signifies the start of the circuit. You will be met here by circuit staff and advised on where to park. |
