Welcome to the Official
Minicross Drivers Association website, were you can find all of the
information about the 2011 Minicross season. The new season will also
see the introduction of the BMW Mini as a new one make series which
will run along side the British Rallycross Championship. The 2011 MDA
Edwardes Bros Minicross Championship will follow the BRC to 4 of their
rounds and the remaining will be run and organised by the MDA at Blyton.
The 2011 MDA Edwardes Bros
Minicross Championship & 2011 MDA R50 BMW Mini Clubman Rallycross
Championship will be open to any National B licence holder, consisting
of eight rounds. The Championship visits Lydden Hill, Blyton, Mallory
Park, Knockhill and Croft. There will also be two non Championship rounds
in Europe at Maasmechelen (Belgium) and Valkenswaard (Holland). In the
2011 MDA Edwardes Bros Minicross Championship, the best seven point
scoring rounds out of the eight will count towards the final Championship
total (one dropped score) for each competitor.
The MDA Edwardes Bros Minicross
Championship returns to some tracks which have not been on the calender
for a number of years. These will include Lydden Hill, Mallory Park
and Knockhill. The Mini's will also experience their 3rd Night Race
at Blyton on the 7th May 2011.
In addition to the Rallycross
events during 2011 there will also be a some Fun Days and Test Days
at Blyton.
The MDA have both Senior
and Junior Minicross hire cars available for most events in the 2011
MDA Edwardes Bros Minircoss Championship. For information on the hire
