2009 MDA Edwardes Bros Minicross Open Championship - Welcome

Welcome to the Official Minicross Drivers Association website, were you can find all of the information about the 2009 Minicross season. The new season will also see our relationship with the Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship continue as we bring together both Championship's under one identity.

The 2009 MDA Edwardes Bros Miniross Open Championship will be open to any National B licence holder, consisting of eight rounds in addition to the standalone 2009 Get Connected! SG Petch Rallycross Superprix. The Championship visits Blyton, Croft Mallory Park, Nutts Corner, and Pembrey. There will also be two non Championship rounds in Europe at Maasmechelen (Belgium) and Valkenswaard (Holland). In the 2009 MDA Edwardes Bros Minicross Open Champinship, the best six point scoring rounds out of the eight will count towards the final Championship total (two dropped scores) for each competitor.

PSM Motorsport Ltd and AMG TV have signed an exclusive deal with ITV Men and Motors to televise the 2009 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship, including the 2009 Get Connected! SG Petch Rallycross Superprix. The Championship which will be filmed by AMG TV, is to be broadcast in 18 one hour standalone programmes with numerous repeats throughout the year. Each round of the Championship will receive two hours of high quality coverage, broken down into two parts.

There are 10 divisions within the 2009 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship and part one of the television coverage from each event will feature five of these categories with part two featuring the remaining five. The categories shown in each part will vary from event to event to mix-up the racing action throughout the season (all divisions will receive the same amount of coverage from each round). Men and Motors is part of the ITV network, meaning that it is much more widely available, throughout the UK.
