2008 MDA Rallycross Championship

Welcome from the MDA

Welcome to the Official Minicross Drivers Association website, were you can find all of the information about the 2008 season. The new season will also see our relationship with the Rallycross Open Championship continue.

The MDA Rallycross Championship will be open to any National B licence holder, consisting of ten rounds, visiting Blyton, Croft and Pembrey. Eight events will be run alongside the Rallycross Open Championship, with additional events taking place at Blyton and Pembrey. The best seven point scoring rounds out of the ten will count towards the final Championship total (3 dropped scores) for each competitor.

Included within the 2008 structure is the Revivals category for both two and four wheel drive cars. The class was introduced at the beginning of 2006 and has since grown rapidly into attracting a range of machinery from years gone by.

The eight MDA Rallycross Championship rounds which run alongside the Rallycross Open Championship will be televised by both Channel 5 and MotorsTV.

MDA Rallycross Championship class structure:

- Procar 1600 (Formerly known as Stock Hatch)
- Minicross
- Revivals

There are also an additional six categories within the Rallycross Open Championship, which are as follows:

- Division 1/1S
- Division 1A
- Rear Wheel Drive Cup
- Super National (with an 800kg weight limit, including driver)
- Procar 2000
- Junior Rallycross

We look forward to your support for the 2008 Rallycross season.
